I am a concert pianist and Director of the Wolfensohn Family Foundation. My greatest pleasure is combining my music and my philanthropy

1. What does it mean to you to have been selected as a "Global Leader for Tomorrow"?

Die besten Jobs von allen

It is a great honor and an opportunity to be selected as a Global Leader of Tomorrow because it enables me to affect positive change with a group of diverse and accomplished people

2. You have been selected by the World Economic Forum for what you have already done in your life, "holding positions of considerable power, influence and responsability". What are the 3-5 things you are most proud of?

a) I played with Yo Yo Ma at the White House for a State Dinner which was even more significant for me than solo or orchestral performances in many countries

b) I organized and performed with Slava Rostropovich and Yo Yo Ma to raise funds for breast cancer research

c) I am a Wexner Fellow - studying Judaism and leadership for two years

d) As Director, I am involved with my brother and sister in the Wolfensohn Family Foundation

3. The World Economic Forum is "committed to improving improve the state of the world". You will participate in shaping tomorrow's world. What impact would you like to have?

This forum connects me with other people who can help me to help address issues of poverty and social justice on a more global scale

4. The World Economic Forum is also a forum to discuss the present state of the world economy. What is the analysis you would give?

I am concerned about the growing gap between the rich and the poor not just from a social and moral point of view, but because I believe that peace and security for all depend on the reduction of poverty throughout the world
