Question

This month I have time to prepare for and "go through" GMAT. I would like to start my MBA first in 2004. Would it be ok to send my GMAT Scores already this year to your school and apply next year? Or should I keep my GMAT results until my application next year?
Dear Sir or Madame

This month I have time to prepare for and "go through" GMAT. I would like to start my MBA first in 2004. Would it be ok to send my GMAT Scores already this year to your school and apply next year? Or should I keep my GMAT results until my application next year? Is it possible to pass through the GMAT Exam without naming any Bschools where the scores should be submitted to?

Answer from Warwick Business School:

Hi

We would be happy to receive your GMAT score prior to your application. We will hold onto your results until we receive your application in the following year.

My understanding is that although you can pass GMAT without naming any BSchools, you would have to pay an additional fee to inform these Schools at a later date. Ideally, then, you should ask GMAC to inform all the Schools in which you may be interested when you take GMAT.

I hope this answers your question. Good luck with GMAT and your applications.

Answer from Said Business School:

Thank you for your e-mail. You may send your GMAT if you wish, or wait until you apply - it's your decision. I understand that GMAC ask you to list all business schools to which you wish to apply. Good luck.

Answer from Cranfield:

You do not have to name schools for your score to be sent to when you take GMAT. They do charge a fee to have the scores sent direct at later stage, but we will accept a photocopy of the original score report.

If you want to have your report sent to us this year, and apply next year, this will be fine, as we keep the score reports and match them with the application forms as they arrive. Our institution code is 0822.

Answer from Manchester Business School:

Dear

Given that you are not intending to apply until 2004 I would recommend keeping your scores until we begin recruiting for the 2004 intake. This will be in October 2003.

You do not need to give names of the Schools you are applying to to GMAT. However, if you do want the scores to be sent direct to us our institution code is 0804.

Kind Regards
