Thanks for your e-mail enquiry. Up to date information for the 2003-2004 MBA programme is available on our website www.sbs.ox.ac.uk

Also, please note that this admissions office is handling information only on the full time Oxford MBA programme, therefore, for information on the EMBA to be launched in 2004, I will advise you to refer to our website as mentioned above or contact Ms Lesley Aylward by e-mail at lesley.aylward@sbs.ox.ac.uk

I can confirm that the 2003-2004 admissions will be structured in stages and we will process applications received on one of four deadlines. The first deadline for 2003-2004 is on 1 November 2002

The Oxford MBA is a one year full-time, very intensive and challenging course, which starts in October of each year. The University of Oxford, Said Business School Oxford MBA is a very general course with a strong entrepreneurial and financial side. We do not offer specialisation on any subject, however the students have the choice of four electives in the third term of the programme.

The Said Business School does not offer any part-time, distance learning, executive or joint MBA courses. As it is a very young programme it does not have any association with other Universities in England or around the world, and therefore we do not accept or offer any programme transfers or joint courses.

I can confirm that the tuition fee for the 2003-2004 Oxford MBA programme will be £21 000 00 sterling, and the application processing fee to be sent with the application will be £120 00 sterling. For scholarships and financial assistance, please refer to our website (as above), or to the University of Oxford website at www.ox.ac.uk

The entry requirements for the University of Oxford MBA programmes are as follows:

- evidence of performance in a first degree. Usually the minimum qualification acceptable is a good first degree (GPA 3.5 or its equivalent)

- for non-native English speakers, proven proficiency through the international English Language Test Scheme (IELTS) 7.5 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 600

- a GMAT score normally in excess of 630 (This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants regardless of their academic or professional background). For more information on how to arrange to take the GMAT test, please refer to the following website: www.gmac.com

- two references to be submitted on the reference forms (one academic and one professional)

- written work for assessment as outline in the guidance notes and on the application form.

- details of work experience (a minimum of two years is preferred)

- three passport size photographs

- official copy of degree transcripts/certificates

- £120 00 sterling towards application processing fee
